The English Education Study Program of FKIP Universitas Galuh successfully held an online sharing session entitled “Career Path & Professional Identity” on Friday, 9 January 2026, via Zoom Meeting. The event aimed to provide students with insights into career development by strengthening professional identity in a competitive global context.
The session featured two alumni speakers with diverse professional backgrounds. Via Ayu Silvia, Founder of Javavia Education Center (JEC), shared her experiences in building an educational institution and emphasized the importance of self-branding, consistency, and lifelong learning. Meanwhile, Bayu Prasetyo, a Line Cruiser Crew, highlighted how English proficiency and professional attitude play crucial roles in international workplaces.
The event was attended by students of the English Education Study Program and was conducted interactively, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers through discussion and question-and-answer sessions. Through this activity, students gained practical perspectives on aligning academic preparation with real-world career demands.
As an added benefit, all participants received a free e-certificate, reinforcing the program’s commitment to supporting students’ professional development beyond the classroom.
